Home prices at a bottom? It depends on where you look. I agree that home prices are more affordable in the less affluent areas. However more desirable neighborhoods have yet to fall. With more foreclosures coming and interest rates having only one way to go (UP!) prices will inevitably fall back in line with income. The unfortunate part is that it may take months if not years for everything to equalize. It did take us about a decade to get into this mess, it makes sense that it's not going to right itself overnight.
