LAST JUNE 2008...........I HAVE SENT EMAILS BACK AND FORTH TO SWEET MARIANNE (MOM).........ZAC IS MY 7th GRANDCHILD BY PROXY............BECAUSE I AM THE GRAMMI FROM (LAGUNA WOODS CA.).......I AM 1 OF MANY WHO HAVE FOLLOWED HIM ON HIS JOURNEY................THANK YOU SHERRIE DELAVAN
Followed Zac since his departure last June when my son and I came out to SoCal for some sailing and surfing. Amazing story that serves as an inspiration to me everyday. Hats off to his parents and family for their support. I just hope we can see this program in North Carolina where we live. Fair winds and following seas Zac!
I'm a live-a-board of my 36 columbia sailboat. I have sailed the Chesapeake Bay for years. I.m been living my dream though Zac from the time he left Calf. You have my prayers and hope for a safe sail & return. I know good & well what can happen at anytime sailing, from ripped sails to stalled motors to hoses bursting. But this young man was made for the sea & all it can though at him.
Thanks for letting me ride\read along. It's almost like I'm there in the cockpit too....
God speed and be with you.

Ive been following Zac and writing to him since he left his home Marina.
He is one amazing guy who has done alot of growing up since he left. His mom is one in a million and I cant even imagine Jen or his dad who have been meeting him along the way., bringing supplies and gifts and letters from all of us. I will be heading out to see his arrival home.
GO ZAC !!!
We have been following Zac's adventure every day. Wish we could be there to see him come in to Grenada. We sail ANOMYNEUSS, a 40' Hunter Legend on the Great Lakes, and can only imagine what it's like to sail a 36 around the world!! The support of his family and others is unbelievable!! He has become like family to all of us!!! Quite a young man!!!
I have been involved with Zac and his father, Laurence, since before Zac left and have been following his progress every day, being an avid sailing cruiser myself. It was great seeing some actual footage of his voyage and the necessarily short narration was very informative. I am looking forward to a DVD of Zac's incredible voyage which undoubtedly will be published after his return.
This was a nice piece by KCET and it was good to see his parents in it. I have been following Zac since he left his home port. The pirates scare gave me the biggest fear for his safety and I pray there is no other such encounter. Now, my son is crossing the country by bike, a little different travel compared to Zac's adventure but at "www.twoarmparty.com" I can also watch and live his adventures. Safe travel to Zac and his family, thanks for the ride.
