I been looking for work in warehouse, forklift operator, shipping, and receiving. I must have gone to a dozen job agencys, and had no success in finding a job position that pay well, insted of making minuim wage, or low wage temp positon that does not promises a permanent position, or benefits. I m now in my mid 40's have lots of experince in that type of work, sence i was laid off as the weigh master at cemex last year in june 2008. I think because of my age it make tough to find a descent job. I even put in copy of my resume, to company for work, even fill out applications, may be because i have two college associate degrees I might be over qualify for the type of work i m looking for, what do you think i should do? as for the show, I m in the same situation like many other it is dead slow i have not seen any improvment yet. I m lucky I have save lots of my money for situation like this, to pull thourgh the hard time. but i still struggle. what suggestion do have for me, or leads that could put me in right track to finding a job. my name is erick k lam, 2426 canyon terrace dr., chino hills, california, 91709, my e- mail lamerick44@yahoo.com, thank you and god bless.

"What Color Is Your Parachute" helps. There are life and death constants that keep people in their jobs- search on all fronts and remain persistent. Also, get that crappy $7.25hr job so you can at least have something and an employer to say that you are good for your word.
