He's just a man. One man can't change that much, especially with 2 wars, the economy in the tank and 5 dollar a gallon gas. (It will be back, LA!)
That said, I am curious to know what all the Dem and liberal organizations are going to do with those monster databases they collected over the last 18 months. Move On? Courage Campaign? Keep an eye on them, because the state level maneuvering is going to be as interesting as the national.
Obama's victory is the best gift the U.S could give to the world.... the questions is, are we ready, here in America, to come together as one.
I cried when Obama hit 270. A couple of hours later I realized Prop 8 had passed. So I cried some more.
My son and I cheered when Obama was named President-Elect. I feel that we as a country finally have a potential future that we can be proud of. Now each one of us has to carry that hope into the hard work ahead. But I am inspired and ready to work because of the vision of this President-Elect. I can't wait to begin!
