I hope Chris Ayres work visa is revoked and he is sent back to London. His poor attempt at humor under the guise of commentary was in very poor taste.
I am surprised that Val Zavala would allow this sorry attempt of jounalism to air on My public broadcasting station.
I have asked many of my friends who watch KCET to view this segment. They all concur.

I say thanks to Val Zavala, Justine Shmidt and Chris Ayres for poking fun at Southern California. We can take it! Maybe I appreciated this segment because shortly before I received the e-mail from KCET with a link to the SoCal Connected website, a colleague said, "I smell smoke. Where's the fire?" My reply was, "It's October, it's probably everywhere." Comparing our rain to a "re-enactment of the Book of Revelations" was brilliant. A little British humor never hurt anyone, so welcome to L.A., Chris. Stay as long as you want!

BRILLIANT! Tim Price and Co obviously have NO humor and without humor how can they possibly live thru the annual flora, fauna and tierra armaggedon! Maybe Tim needs to move to somewhere more suited to his lack of humor and climate needs. Chris...rock on mate!
