High-flying solicitor (Claire Goose) returns to the small South Devon seaside town of Lighthaven that she left as a teenager to take on the role of Coroner. In this premiere episode, a boy is found dead at the foot of a tower. The Detective Sergeant (Matt Bardock) believes it was a tragic suicide, but the Coroner thinks there is more to the case than meets the eye.
