Here's what Yesenia had to say:
Next up, John Eod:
Lastly, Kiara:
These young media-makers were an amazing inspiration. They taught me an incredible amount about how engaged community members can document the spaces around them using audio, video and photography. If I had a confessional I'd say: Abrazos! We couldn't have done it without you!
I have a few more follow-up posts about Departures: Los Angeles River, but we're already thinking about the next installment of the series. I won't share where we're going next, but here's a hint.
Hi Juan!
It's great to see these video blogs about the making of Departures! You rock.
How great to so thoroughly engage young children with their neighborhoods, areas they surely understand better than self-proclaimed experts. Cannot wait to see what departures has next!
Is this the James I suspect? I am glad you are still around and checking the work. Abrazos
