Marilyn Lewis

Marilyn Lewis, restaurateur, fashion designer and movie producer (The Passion of Ayn Rand; Superstar: The Life and Times of Andy Warhol), has always had a classic sense of style and a gift for knowing "when something seems right." It is this mantra that has made her a successful entrepreneur and designer to celebrities like former First Lady Nancy Reagan and Dyan Cannon. Lewis launched her foray into fashion in 1966 with an initial 35 designs that caught the attention of Vogue's legendary editor Diana Vreeland. The "Cardinali Look" became iconic when Marlo Thomas wore her designs in the hit TV show That Girl.

Comments

I am not able to afford to even bid on the fabulous clothing presented on this special, but I would love to be able to obtain a CD or video of the fashion show featured. Is that possible? if it were available wouldn't be great to offer it as a thank you gift for a contribution? Just a thought.
