Israel's popular young writer Etgar Keret is at once court jester, literary crown prince, and national conscience. His painfully funny and honest books have earned him international recognition. In a rare West Coast engagement, Keret reads from his collection of short stories The Nimrod Flipout, named one of the top twenty-five works of fiction in 2006 by the Los Angeles Times.
