In conjunction with Sci Arc's current exhibition, deegan day design's BLOW x BLOW (up through December 13th), the school is hosting Friends of Friends, a discussion series that will provide a platform for prominent Los Angeles artists and art enthusiasts to share their thoughts on the exhibition, as well as discuss their own work and the L.A. art scene at large. Monday's conversationalists are video artist Josh Melnick and Lauri Firstenberg, Director/Curator of LAXART, a nonprofit supports the production of new work by architects, artists, and designers.
